Head of Business Law

Job Type: Permanent Full Time

Salary: Market rate

PQE – 5 years +

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a smart, approachable and personable Solicitor to head up our Business Law team. The role involves leading the Business Law Team developing business contacts and the client base with managing/handling/advising on a mixed caseload of corporate transactions(shares, assets, re-financings and re-organisations) together with a wide variety of commercial agreements and contracts.

Requirements

The seniority of the position indicates it is likely that an outgoing Solicitor with at least 5 years’ relevant corporate/company/commercial experience(in-house or private practice) will fill the role. They will have relevant quality experience combined with a commercially astute manner, be able to market themselves and the team, and look to establish themselves and develop their career.

About You

In addition to being an experienced business law solicitor, you will also need to possess great relationship-building skills, initiative and enthusiasm. You will also need to demonstrate:

·       Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills

·       Team and client management skills with a business development outlook

·       Highly organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail

·       Experience of working to deadlines and targets

·       ExcellentIT skills, in particular Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel

Company Commercial Solicitor

 About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a smart, approachable and personable Solicitor to join our Business Law team. The role will involve handling a mixed caseload of commercial agreements and contracts including disposals and acquisitions.

Qualification requirements

The level of caseload requires a Solicitor with atleast 2 years relevant company commercial experience. You must be able to work effectively within a team whilst be ambitious, with relevant quality experience and a commercially astute manner, able to market themselves and the team, and looking to establish themselves and develop their career.

 About you

Family Lawyer

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: Market rate

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a family Law specialist to join our team.  The role would suit a solicitor or legal executive with 3-5 years’ PQE.  The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Department and will enjoy a varied caseload.

The candidate will have existing experience of handling all family law matters, including divorce, separation, ancillary relief, civil partnerships, children issues, cohabitation issues and pre/post-nuptial agreements.  They will be comfortable running their own cases independently from start to finish and with minimal supervision.  Some advocacy experience would also be preferable, although not essential.

The position is available immediately.
