Litigation

Property litigation

Our team, which includes two Property Litigation Association members, assist both landlord and tenant on matters arising during their relationship and resolution of all disputes; in particular, enforcement and renewal issues arising from disposal of leasehold property in the industrial, office and retail sectors and liaising closely with surveyors and agents.

We also have a very successful track record for land owners on boundary disputes and enforcement of easements, providing advice and pursuing construction disputes, as well as enforcing warranties through both County Court and High Court litigation, adjudication or arbitration.

Education law

stevensdrake works for a number of independent schools within the South-East providing them with bespoke, practical and no-nonsense advice in plain English. We understand that schools have limited time and resources and that it is never in the school’s or its’ pupils best interest to become involved in protracted and costly legal proceedings.

Our education service to you:

  • ‍Litigation
  • ‍Employment
  • ‍Property
  • ‍Contractual advice
  • ‍Charity advice

Seminars

stevensdrake regularly runs free seminars for independent schools. Topics covered so far include:

  • Public Benefit Test
  • ‍Child Protection
  • ‍School Trips
  • ‍Disability Discrimination
  • ‍Age Discrimination
  • ‍Disciplinary & Grievance Procedures
  • ‍Bullying

Please click here should you wish to be added to the database, you will then receive details of forthcoming seminars.

We also offer a free, no obligation meeting at your school to discuss your legal requirements.

You will have peace of mind in knowing that you are dealing with solicitors who specialise in Education law.
