About

Joanna Taylor-Maynard

Conveyancing

Joanna, also known as Jo, has over 30 years’ Legal Secretarial experience in a variety of areas of law, including employment, litigation and residential conveyancing, both in London, where she started her career, and also locally. She originally joined stevensdrake in 2007, left to start a family at the end of 2009, but just couldn’t keep away and, we’re pleased to say, came back in 2017.  Jo joined our Residential Conveyancing team full time in 2021.

Jo is responsible for carrying out our essential administrative tasks, clerical support and client onboarding. You are very likely to come across Jo at the beginning of your transaction as she plays a large role in client onboarding and ID verification and compliance.

Jo offers invaluable support to the team, ensuring that things run smoothly and efficiently, and that her colleagues have the time and space to focus on their clients’ needs. With her friendly and caring manner, Jo is able to quickly develop strong relationships with clients and provide support to them with the initial steps of their transactions.

In her free time, Jo enjoys spending time with her husband and boys, socialising with family and friends, seeing shows and musicals, regularly attends the gym spinning and bodypump, and also loves a good old Rom-Com!
